UltiMate RC is an app published by Vertinence for RC drivers. It lets you enter the schedule of a race day and get reminders before your own heats.
In short: we collect no data about you. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Your data stays on your devices and in your own iCloud.
Our commitment: at Vertinence, we never use our users’ personal data. This rule guides the design of all our apps.
1. Data you enter
The races, days, categories, heats, times, notes, locations and reminder settings you create are stored on your device. Vertinence has no access to them.
2. iCloud sync
If you are signed in to iCloud, the app syncs this data between your devices using Apple CloudKit, in your own private iCloud space. It is encrypted and handled by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy. Vertinence neither reads nor stores it. You can turn this off in Settings > [your name] > iCloud.
3. Weather
To show the weather for a race, the app sends the coordinates of the race location and the requested date to Apple WeatherKit. No personal identifier is sent. Weather data is provided by Apple Weather.
4. Location (optional)
If you allow it, your position is used only to pinpoint the track when you choose a location. It is used on your device at the time of the request, is not kept by Vertinence and is not passed to any third party. Place search uses Apple Maps (MapKit). You can decline or withdraw permission in Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services: the app remains usable by typing the location by hand.
5. Notifications
Heat reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. No server is involved. You can turn them off in the notification settings of your device.
6. Widgets and Live Activity
The widgets and the Live Activity show your upcoming heats from data already on your device. Nothing is sent elsewhere.
7. Sharing
A schedule (text or calendar file) is shared only when you choose to, with the app or person you select.
8. On Android
On Android, your data is stored on your device only. If Android backup is turned on, it may be included in your device backup to your Google account, managed by Google. The Android version uses neither location nor weather, and sends no data to Vertinence.
9. What we do not do
We do not collect personal data, sell it, share it, use trackers, or follow you across apps.
10. Children
The app collects no data, including from children.
11. Your rights
Because Vertinence holds no data about you, there is nothing for us to access or delete. To remove your data, delete it in the app, or delete the app and, on iPhone, its data in Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Manage Storage.
12. Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with its date.
13. Contact
