Easy Score support

Answers to common questions about Easy Score.

A question, a problem or an idea? Write to us and tell us your devices (for example iPhone 15, iOS 18, Apple Watch Series 9, watchOS 11): we usually answer within a few days.

How do I score a point?

Press and hold the half of the screen of the side that won the point for about half a second. This short press avoids points given by accident. A simple tap can be chosen instead in the settings.

How do I undo a point?

Turn the Digital Crown backwards: each notch removes the last point, with no limit. The menu (•••) also offers “Edit score” to set the score by hand.

How do I end a match?

Open the menu (•••) and choose “Finish the match”. In the open format, the end of each set also offers “Next set” or “Finish the match”.

Why does the app start a workout?

A workout session keeps the watch screen on for the whole match. If “Record in Health” is on, the match is also saved as a workout (duration, calories, heart rate). This data stays in the Health app: Easy Score does not keep it or send it anywhere.

How do I add names to a match?

Add your players in the Players tab of the iPhone app. After a match, choose “Who played?” on the watch summary or in the iPhone history. Names are never shown during the match.

Can I use Easy Score without an Apple Watch?

Yes. In the Scoreboard tab of the iPhone app, choose “Count on this iPhone”.

My matches do not appear on my other devices.

History and players are synced through your private iCloud. Check that you are signed in to iCloud with the same Apple Account on each device, and that iCloud Drive is enabled.

The score does not reach my iPhone.

The live score needs the iPhone to be nearby with Bluetooth on. Finished matches are sent as soon as the iPhone is reachable again.
