In short: Easy Score collects no data. There is no account, no server, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking. Your matches stay on your devices and in your own private iCloud.
Our commitment: at Vertinence, we never use our users’ personal data. This rule guides the design of all our apps.
Who we are
Easy Score for iPhone and Apple Watch is published by Vertinence, 7 B rue du Parc, 92140 Clamart, France.
Data stored on your devices
The app stores your match settings, the match in progress, your match history and the players you add (names and optional photos) on your devices only. Nothing is sent to us.
iCloud
If you are signed in to iCloud, your history and your players are synced between your own devices through Apple’s CloudKit, in your private iCloud database. We cannot access this data. You can turn this off in the iCloud settings of your iPhone.
Between your Apple Watch and your iPhone
The watch and the iPhone exchange the live score, finished matches and the list of players directly, through Apple’s WatchConnectivity. This data does not leave your devices, except through your iCloud as described above.
Health data
During a match the app runs a workout session to keep the watch screen on. If you allow it, the match is saved in the Health app as a workout (duration, calories, heart rate). Easy Score only reads heart rate and calories to include them in this workout. Health data stays in the Health app: Easy Score does not keep it, does not send it anywhere, does not use it for advertising and does not share it with anyone. You can change these permissions at any time in the Health app.
Photos
If you add a photo to a player, the photo you choose is stored with that player on your devices and in your private iCloud. The app does not access the rest of your library.
Sharing
An image of the score is only shared when you choose to share it, with the apps and people you pick.
Children
Easy Score can be used by everyone. Since no data is collected, no personal information from children is collected either.
Your rights
As no data is collected, we hold no data about you. You can delete your data at any time by deleting matches or players in the app, or by deleting the app and its iCloud data (Settings, your name, iCloud, Manage Account Storage).
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with its date.
